Growing up in Grand Cay, Abaco, the ocean wasn't just a backdrop for my life—it was my backyard and my classroom. I started commercial lobster diving at 16, and those early years under the surface taught me the discipline, patience, and respect for the sea that define who I am today.
Over the years, I’ve turned that passion into a career as a professional waterman. Whether I’m spear fishing, navigating the northern Bahamas, or working on charters from West End to the Abaco Cays, I take pride in sharing the beauty of our waters with others. My time as a deckhand on the Boss Lady further sharpened my skills in seamanship and teamwork, ensuring every trip is safe and successful. To me, being a Bahamian waterman is about more than just the catch; it’s about a lifelong connection to the ocean and a commitment to excellence in everything I do on the water.

Growing up in Grand Cay, the ocean has always been my home. I’ve spent over 30 years as a captain and fishing guide, primarily serving the Kenney family, and that time on the water has given me a deep respect for the beauty and bounty of the Bahamas. For me, being a captain is about more than just navigation; it’s about reliability, tradition, and making sure every person who steps onto my boat leaves with a story to tell.
When I’m not at the helm, I’m usually leaning into another passion of mine—preparing what many consider to be the best conch salad in the country. I take great pride in keeping that Bahamian tradition alive, serving it up fresh and full of flavor. After a lifetime devoted to these waters, I’m honored to be a part of the Grand Cay legacy, sharing the very best of our island life with locals and visitors alike.
